Aura Honours Top Players from the Aura League at Burj Alshaya Ceremony

Aura, Alshaya Group loyalty programme, held a special ceremony at Burj Alshaya to honour five standout players from the Aura League by Alshaya. The event celebrated the top-performing players from the first six rounds of the league in recognition of their exceptional performances and sportsmanship.

The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, President of the Kuwait Football Association (KFA), Saleh Alshaya, President of Apparel at Alshaya Group, along with senior KFA officials, including Secretary General Dr. Saleh Al-Majroub and Director of Development and Education Sameer Dashti, as well as sports leaders.

Foot Locker, operated by Alshaya Group, also joined the celebration by presenting each with a pair of premium sneakers, as a gesture of encouragement and support for emerging sporting talent.

Commenting on the occasion, Saleh Alshaya said: “Aura is proud to support young Kuwaiti athletes through the Aura League, an initiative that highlights their talent and fosters a spirit of healthy competition. Recognising these outstanding players reflects our commitment to empowering youth and advancing the sports landscape in Kuwait.”

Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah thanked Alshaya Group and the Aura programme for their strong support of the KFA and young players through their sponsorship of the Aura League, and for offering exceptional awards both at the end of the season and after each round. He emphasized that such efforts “will undoubtedly contribute to developing the league and enhancing the capabilities of its players.”
