4 October, 2015: H&M is proud to introduce the new Modern Essentials collection selected by David Beckham, along with his latest Bodywear range. David has selected pieces from the autumn collection, showing his eye for updated classics that are layered to create a fresh masculine look. The collection will be accompanied by a new campaign, and will be available in all H&M stores that carry menswear, as well as online, from October 1.
Autumn is about layering key pieces for the season ahead. The camel coat has been given a refreshed new fit. Made from a wool mix that includes 65% recycled wool, the new creation forms part of H&M’s commitment to more sustainable fashion. The coat will also be available in sharp black. Get the retro classic feel in a two-button blazer that comes in a subtle cross-hatch weave.
A navy double-zip bomber jacket features black nylon sleeves for that utility feel, while a navy sweater has texture from the added mohair and stripes in bold oatmeal. The traditional plaid shirt has been given a new cut as a button-down that can be worn both casually or dressed up, while an oatmeal slogan sweatshirt has the washed feel of an old sportswear favourite. There’s a pair of cross-hatch tailored pants that match the blazer, besides skinny jeans that come in black or off-white.
The latest seasonal pieces from David Beckham’s Bodywear match sports with loungewear, like the pale grey melange sweatpants, or the knit Henley. A golden brown sweatshirt is perfect for after a work-out or relaxing at home, while long-johns are the bodywear essentials as the winter closes in. The pieces will be available alongside the core range of David Beckham Bodywear, which has become a wardrobe staple for men around the world.
