To celebrate the ongoing partnership between COS and the Serpentine Galleries, and the 2017 edition of 'Park Nights', the brand hosted an event at the Serpentine Pavilion designed by award-winning architect Francis Kéré and his Berlin based studio Kéré Architecture. This was then followed by an intimate dinner in Sackler Gallery's iconic Magazine restaurant, designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid.
Guests from the creative worlds of art, design and fashion joined COS Creative Director Karin Gustafsson and COS Managing Director Marie Honda as well as Serpentine Galleries Artistic Director Hans Ulrich Obrist and Serpentine Galleries CEO Yana Peel to celebrate this fifth year of partnership. The evening's entertainment was provided in the form of a live performance in the Pavilion by the estimable British contemporary jazz duo Blue Lab Beats.
Attendees included: Marc Quinn; Patrick Gibson; Jasmine Hemsley; Benji B; Arthur Jafa; Matilda Lowther; Yana Peel; Hans Ulrich Obrist; Quentin Jones; Zawe Ashton; Tiphaine de Lussy; Agathe Chapman; Matthew Stone; and Alexander Groves and Azusa Murakami.
Karin Gustafsson, COS Creative Director, commented, "It is always a pleasure to celebrate at the Serpentine Galleries, and for this, our fifth year of partnership, it feels especially significant. We continue to be inspired by the way the institution promotes innovation and creativity and we are honoured to collaborate on its summer programming again this year."
