Kuwait, 29 June 2011: Pinkberry, the internationally acclaimed frozen yogurt brand, enjoyed by global celebrities, is set to make its debut in the UK. M.H. Alshaya, the leading international retail franchise business, which already operates the Pinkberry brand in the Middle East and Russia, today confirmed that it planned to launch Hollywood's favourite frozen yoghurt into the UK market this summer, initially in London. The announcement represents a further extension of Alshaya’s franchise relationship with Pinkberry and marks the company’s first operations in the UK.
Pinkberry is the original frozen yogurt, first launched in California in 2005, and today it is the number one frozen yogurt brand. Pinkberry is made with only low fat yogurt and fresh low fat milk that is the perfect balance of tart, tangy and sweet, resulting in a light, refreshing and clean taste that is truly craveable.

From one store in Kuwait, Alshaya has expanded the brand into the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and Russia. Pinkberry’s arrival in the UK marks a further expansion for the brand.
