Young Kuwaitis successfully complete Alshaya Graduate Programme
Kuwait, 2 February 2011: Eleven Kuwaiti interns, who have successfully completed the Alshaya Graduate Programme, received their certificates of recognition in a special ceremony held January 27, 2011 at the Brasserie de l'etoile restaurant in The Avenues. For these young Kuwaitis the graduation celebration marked the successful conclusion of a six months programme.
The Alshaya Graduate Programme is a dedicated professional retail training programme that introduces outstanding Kuwaiti university graduates to careers in the retail sector. Reflecting the diverse career opportunities available in the industry, from Finance and Law through to Marketing and Human Resources, Alshaya’s graduate programme was created by retail experts within the company. It helps talented young individuals gain first-hand experience and develop their skills in their chosen discipline.
Each graduate works in a selected part of the business, and they are supported by ongoing training and coaching sessions. The programme reinforces Alshaya’s commitment to developing the careers of young Kuwaitis, and it’s an important part of Alshaya’s talent sourcing and development plan.
These successful interns from the Alshaya Graduate Programme; Anwar Al-Qadiri, Abdullah Al-Kandari, Noura Al-Summait, Amna Al-Abduljalil, Adel Abdul Hussain, Fatemah Ibrahim, Aisha Malik, Amani Al-Julaibi, Noor Al-Ali, Mohammed Al-Bader, and Dana Al-Mesad received their graduation certificates from Antoinette Sullivan, Senior HR Business partner at M. H. Alshaya Co. in a special ceremony that was also attended by a number of Alshaya executives.
