KidZania and TEKZONE to reopen from 1 September
Alshaya Group today announced that its well-loved family leisure and entertainment brands, KidZania, TEKZONE, which are both situated in the Avenues, will be open and welcoming guests from Wednesday, 1 September.The decision follows Kuwait government advice allowing amusement parks and recreational centres to reopen
Guests can pre-book visits to KidZania online by visiting: https://kuwait.kidzania.com. Access to TEKONE is managed by a rechargeable card system. Guests can get cards directly from TEKZONE on their initial visit and recharge them in advance for subsequent visits.
Commenting on the reopening of family entertainment in Kuwait, Fernando Medroa, Vice President of Leisure and Entertainment at Alshaya Group, said: “We are very happy to be able to open our entertainment centres and welcome families back. We have worked very closely with the Ministry of Health to ensure that we have rigorous and effective health practices in place, including practical staff training, regular disinfectant and cleaning of all facilities, appropriate social distancing, and other protocols. This is a very exciting moment for us, we have looked forward for many months to welcoming our customers back.”

The edutainment center is a child-sized replica of a real city, including real-life companies, with buildings, shops and theaters, as well as vehicles and pedestrians moving along its streets, offering children the opportunity to understand and appreciate different careers and businesses through a hands-on approach.
