KidZania Kuwait Partners with The Sultan Center

The Sultan Center partners with KidZania Kuwait as the sponsor of the Supermarket establishment and operator of the Convenience Store within the children’s city

Kuwait,16 September 2012: KidZania Kuwait, the family entertainment park which promises to bring children a new level of family fun once it opens later this year, is pleased to announce a marketing partnership with The Sultan Center (TSC), Kuwait’s leading supermarket and general merchandise retailer. With 60 stores across the Middle East, The Sultan Center will sponsor the Supermarket establishment at KidZania Kuwait and will also operate a Convenience Store within the children’s city, which will be operated by leading international retail franchise operator M. H. Alshaya Co.

The Sultan Center’s Supermarket establishment will offer its young visitors the opportunity to role-play different jobs such as a cashier, a baker and a deli assistant, as well as receive salaries in kidZos (KidZania’s currency) for their services. Children can also choose to be customers and shop for groceries, enabling them to identify and understand supermarket procedures, introduce them to the basics of financial literacy and foster their self-esteem and interaction with other children through team-building exercises.

KidZania Kuwait is scheduled to open in the new Phase III expansion of The Avenues later this year, where it will welcome visitors, aged 4-14, to role play more than 100 different activities within a realistically themed environment.
