Alshaya Group Brings Chipotle’s First-Ever Chipotlane Beyond North America to Kuwait

Alshaya Group and Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) are proud to announce the launch of the brand’s first Chipotlane restaurant outside North America, located in Kuwait. This format is new to the Gulf region, offering a digital order drive-thru pickup lane that allows guests to pick up their preordered meals without leaving their cars
The new Chipotlane at Bneid AlGar, Kuwait, provides guests with the full Chipotle menu of responsibly sourced ingredients and fresh-made burritos, bowls and tacos, alongside the convenience of a fast-pick up lane. This innovative format strengthens the guest offer and signals Alshaya Group’s commitment to introducing world-class dining formats to the Gulf region.

This opening in Kuwait signals the extension of the Chipotlane format beyond North America, with Chipotle now operating over 1,000 Chipotlane outlets in the United States and Canada. The Kuwait location will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m., offering exceptional convenience for guests at all hours. Over 80% of company-owned restaurants will have a Chipotlane, and Chipotle has a long-term target of 7,000 locations in North America.
