The Official Name of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is Al-Mamlaka Al-Arabiya Al-Saudiya. The Kingdom has an area of 2,250,000 square kilometers with the population of 20.8 million.

Comprising most of the Arabian Peninsula, Saudi Arabia covers an area approximately the same size as Western Europe.

Current estimates mean that Saudi Arabia has roughly 25% of the world’s proven oil reserves and the Kingdom’s gas reserves stand at approximately 4% of world reserves. In addition to its vast oil and gas reserves, the Kingdom is rich in mineral deposits.
